Commencement of EAA Vehicle Pre-shipment Inspection for Used Vehicles Destined to Guyana

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has recently mandated pre-shipment inspection for used vehicles imported into Guyana from Japan, the United Kingdom, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa, effective January 1, 2025.
Since these inspections can be conducted without a special contract, EAA will commence vehicle pre-shipment inspections for Guyana.

EAA Vehicle Pre-Shipment Inspection will be mandatory, effective January 1, 2025.
However, the relevant GRA announcement reads that vehicles which have already been purchased and shipped prior to January 1, 2025 will not be affected.

For further details, please contact EAA’s local office in your country.
